LIFE IN BHUTAN
17/01/2012
BHUTAN |
A country famous for its responsible attitude towards life via it’s gross national happiness.
The Kingdom of Bhutan – known as the Land of the Thunder Dragon – lies east of Nepal and south of Tibet. Bhutan has been visited by a great many saints, mystics, scholars and pilgrims over the centuries who not only came for their personal elucidation, but blessed the land and its people with an invaluable spiritual and cultural legacy that has shaped every facet of Bhutanese life.

wow.. loved the pics…
They seem different, almost untouched.. like an endangered species among human kind.. rest of whom are diluted with globalization.. looking at these picture.. I feel a fear.. that this overwhelming wave of globalization will get into them, too..
@Mashrur…
Humanity has a way of adapting to change…
As globalization comes Bhutan, I think you will see a new translation of the culture rather than an erosion of it.
Keep your head up… its good to see life moving forward & creating a new language out of the old.
