FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE

27/12/2011

RUSSIA |

Russian Weddings, are a curious and exciting concoction of traditions and customs.

There are many examples, one of which is the letting go of two doves. One represents a boy and the other a girl, whichever dove flies the highest will display the sex of the couples first child.

Another tradition in Moscow is that after getting married by a civil celebrant, all the couples invariably go to the same 3/4 spots in the city where they take photos and drink to their marriage with their weddings party before finally arriving to the reception.

These photos capture these celebrations… a sea of bridal parties, joy and happiness.
