Helen Jennings who edited Arise Magazine for 3yrs, has produced this colorful book about Modern African fashion, and we LOVE it!!

This cool coffee table book is easily assessible and you don’t have to be into fashion to enjoy it.

Its just the thing to chase those upcoming winter blues away!…

It talks about the history of African fashion both in terms of its influence on international catwalks, and designers like Yves Saint Laurent.

There’s no such thing as being over-dressed in African fashion. When you go to an African event, you cannot be overdressed!

Textiles like Ankara and Shweshwe show how important cloth is in African fashion.

You have to love the fact that African fashion is not afraid to be itself. It’s very bold and brave. It’s about being layering, color and spice!
